Part Time Asset Manager

Chelsea Neighborhood Developers, Inc. is seeking a part time Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of approximately 250 affordable apartment units, most financed through the Section 42 (LIHTC) affordable housing tax credit program, and a 22,000 square foot commercial building. The Asset Manager performs a wide variety of tasks related to the proactive preservation of high housing standards. The Asset Manager will ensure the financial performance of the properties and compliance with investor and lender covenants and agreements. The Asset Manager position is characterized by a high degree of accountability, technical aptitude and diplomacy. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience with affordable housing management, development or lending, and possess strong quantitative and analytic skills. Demonstrated ability to work in diverse community and to maintain productive relationships is essential.
Real Estate Development Position

Chelsea Neighborhood Developers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Real Estate team. CND focuses on affordable housing, both rental and homeownership at a range of project sizes, as well as mission-related commercial development. In the past three years CND has undertaken $64 million of development in seven projects. The agency’s pipeline is active and varied including a Neighborhood Stabilization Initiative involving the acquisition and redevelopment of foreclosed properties as scattered-site rental project; homeownership; and demolition for redevelopment.
The Project Manager will be responsible for all phases of the development process, including engaging appropriate professionals at early feasibility stage, financial and design analysis, and assembling financing, and managing budget and schedule. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ year’s experience in real estate project management, finance, or construction management; strong analytic and organizational skills, initiative and persistence. Bilingual/bicultural highly desirable.
