Relationship Building

Relationships are the raw material from which social capital is made – valuable connections that make it possible for residents to improve the quality of life in their neighborhood.  When neighbors know and trust one another, the community is stronger, safer and healthier place to live.  Community Engagement programs provide opportunities for residents to get to know one another and build a more vital community:

NeighborCircles are a series of dinners and conversations in a neighbor’s home.

First Thursday Neighborhood Dinners are monthly opportunities to meet new friends and network with other CND members and community leaders.

The CND Community Garden is a green space at the corner of Shawmut and Suffolk streets.

Social events and block parties help build community through fun!
