Ways to Get Involved

CND is constantly looking for volunteers to help implement and plan the work that makes neighborhoods healthier. Volunteers populate our board and committees where they help plan for the future and answer tough day to day questions about the direction of the organization.

CND is almost always planning for an event and if that is the case we will need volunteers to be successful. Whether it be hosting block parties, organizing neighborhood clean ups, hosting a tax preperation site, volunteers allow us to be creative and think big.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

CND is currently looking for volunteers to provide free tax assistance to low income households during the January - April 2011 tax filing season. Training is provided, and volunteers learn a valuable skill while they collectively return more than $1 million in refunds to our clients.
